The Great NYC Scavenger Hunt
12 - 7 PM
Get a team of people and prepare for the wildest boardgame, challenge, and scavenger hunt. You’ll be in the subways, in the sky, finding unique items, and maybe even doing a little bit of hide and seek. You have a maximum of 7 hours to complete challenges across NYC and Whoever gets the most points will be crowned winner of the first NYC Scavenger Hunt by JJ.
WELCOME to the great NYC Scavenger Hunt. We have turned the entire NYC into a full boardgame, full of challenges, silly photo-ops, and little bit of getting to know me.
Rules
The goal is simple: Get the most points
1.
You get points by completing cards
2.
The harder the card the more points you can get.
3.
But there’s a twist, each time a team completes a card the next team that complete that card gets less points
Once the game ends we’ll announce the winner at the Birthday Bash where y’all will be rewarded with little crowns for y’all and a home cooked meal.

While you can start anywhere, JJ will be at a brunch place to start
At 11AM We’ll go and JJ will post up in one of his favorite places for a couple of hours at which point y’all can start
The cards will be released and we’re off to the races.

FAQ
Can I come late?
Yes! You’re more than welcome to start/end at any point after 11. The game is very much a drop in and drop out affair
Can I start anywhere?
Yes. You’re allowed to position yourself wherever you want to. So if you want to be next to a challenge you can clean easily go for it!
Can my team split up?
No. Y’all need to be together for it! (though people can join and leave the team at any point.)
I want a team!
Sweet! Just click the checkbox that you want a team on the form and that’s all you gotta do. As long as I know you I’ll try to match you with people that I know.
Can I do this solo?
Technically yes. I’ve made sure that everything is possible by yourself. However if you want to do it solo cause you’re afraid, I promise my friends are very cool (and so are you!).
What’s the max players?
I highly, highly recommend you have a group of 4. Afterwards we do put penalties on your group size. With the max group size being 7 people (and each card only gets you 25% of the points)
But couldn’t I split into 2 groups of and we all walk together?
Yes! And I genuinely don’t mind that. The rule of diminishing points still makes it a choice on which group gets more points. It adds a little spice and strategy to the game.
I refuse to get WhatsApp can I use something else?
Dang like your whole crew refuses to use it? Cause you yourself not using it is fine but your whole crew?
