I hosted an all-day celebration to celebrate the big 30 and so I could celebrate the people who helped me become me. As y’all know, I love being goofy and I love to host. We be celebrated in two ways: In the morning we turned New York City into the greatest game show you’ve participated in. In the evening we met up at a rented out bar to finish the night.
A City-wide Scavenger Hunt
11 - 6 PM • All over NYC
Y’all teamed up with friends. Traveled through NYC accomplishing challenges like taking a group boba photo, going to the Nintendo World Store, or finding hidden gems, taking photos, and creating memories. And by the end y’all earned prizes and trophies in this memorable city-wide hunt.
30th Birthday Bash
8PM - 12AM • Broken Shaker
I rented a bar with drinks and apps around 8PM until midnight. Y’all came for the drinks, the food, and a way to celebrate my birthday. I’m so glad I saw y’all <3.

And for once: Tell every one of your friends that we did it. After moving to New York a little more than 1.5 years ago it’s been an incredible journey and I’m glad I was able to celebrate my 30th with so many of the people who have been part of the journey both here , SF, DC, and everywhere else. You all hold a special place in my heart.

No it’s actually May 7th! But I decided that doing a Scavenger Hunt in the middle of the workday is…not the smartest idea I could have.
Did I have to sign up for the hunt immediately?
People signed up until the day before!
Did you need help?

Comms - Help me send the invites and confirm all the invites are sent, all info is clear, and that I’m not the only one asking questions.
Logistics - There are a lot of moving parts. Specifically making sure we know what is exactly going to happen the day of, making sure that we actually get cake…etc

Scavenger Hunt Simulators - You get to do the scavenger hunt early w/me but at the cost of not being able to do the Scavenger Hunt on the day.
